And behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue. He fell down at Jesus's feet and begged Him to come to his house, for he had an only daughter about twelve years of age, and she was dying. But as he went, the multitude thronged Him.
Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all of her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any, came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And inmediately her flow of blood stopped.
And Jesus said, "Who touched Me?" When all denied it, Peter and those with Him said, "Master, the multitudes throng You and press You, and You say, "Who touched Me?"
But Jesus said, "Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me." Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed inmediately. He said to her, "daughter, be of good cheer, your faith has made you whole. Go in peace."
While He was still speaking someone came from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, "Your daughter is dead. Do not trouble the "Teacher." But when Jesus heard it, he answered him saying, "Do not be afraid, only believe, and she will be made well." When Jesus came into the house,....took her by her hand and called, saying, "Little girl, arise." Her spirit returned, and she arose inmediately.
Jesus went out to Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, a blind man sat by the road begging. When he heard that it was Jesus. He began to cry out and say, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!" So Jesus answered and said to him, "What do you want me to do for you? The blind man said, Rabboni, that I may receive my sight." Jesus said to him, "Go your way, your faith has made you well." Inmediately he received his sight.
King David, wrote in Psalm 91, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty, I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge, and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust"
One moment with the King can change your life for ever. One moment in the presence of the King can change the destiny of your life for ever. Who is the King of Kings? Who is the King of Glory? Jesus is the King of Kings and The Lord of Lords. He is the breath that you breathe. Men and women of God hunger for more of the presence of the Lord each day.
The Holy Spirit longs to visit you with His presence and power. Today, He is waiting for you to welcome Him into your life.
I believe that once you experience a visitation of the awesome presence of the Holy Spirit and drink from this well of living water, nothing will satisfy the unquenchable thirst of your soul like His glorious, life-giving presence. Yet, more than ever, the deepest desire of my heart is for more of His presence.
Several years ago the Lord calls us to minister in the market place. We opened up a retail store, selling and repairing computerized sewing machines & vacuums. One week after the doors were opened. A woman came in, as she opened the front door, the lady said, "that she was going to kill herself." At that time, she was behind me. I turned around and told her that she was not going to kill herself. I asked her, Did you come to buy a sewing machine or a vacuum? the woman replied, "no." I asked her, "Do you know who am I? she replied, "no." I told her, "I am a minister of the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ, today you have an divine appointment with the living God, the Lord wants you to choose life rather than death." One hour later, the woman gave her life to Jesus, she was delivered from the spirit of death and suicide. As a result of the encounter with God; she was transformed; her marriage was restored; her son was a drug addict; he came to the knowledge of Christ, he was delivered; he went to a church near his house; and later, he went to a bible school of ministry, serving the Lord and ministering to troubled teenagers.
Stir up in your mind the awareness of His presence in your life each day; in everything you do; no hidden secrets, walking as children of light, walking in truth, walking in love, walking in His presence. Release your faith to believe that He will touch your life today. What is it that you want Him to do for you right now? What circumstances of your life are you struggling with?
Ask Him; Invite Him to come in, to your situation!
Let it come! Lord! Let it come! Let the Power of the Holy Spirit come to fill you with His presence as He brings you under His wings.
Come! Come into His presence!
